Truck lands in house

Fortunately, the residents of a home in the city’s southwest were away when a truck landed in their house.
Fire Dept. Battalion Chief Ernie Molineaux tells 660News a half-ton pickup hit the bungalow, on Hogarth Crescent, causing extensive damage.
It happened around 7:45 Sunday morning.
“The truck is actually completely inside the home. There was nobody home at the time of the accident. The single male occupant of the truck recieved some minor injuries and is being looked after by EMS,” says Molineaux.
The fire department’s heavy rescue team has assessed and stabilized the structure of the home.
Officials are trying to figure out what caused the vehicle to leave the road and hit the house.
