Two alarm fire at auto body shop

A northeast auto body shop has been destroyed by fire.
The building in the 200 block of 41st Avenue started burning early Sunday evening.
Fire department spokesman Brian McAsey tells 660News, crews had to call a second alarm.
“Thankfully as far as I know we’ve had no injuries on scene. Whenever we have a large building fire it’s a dangerous scene, so obviously it’s of great concern to us that everyone is kept as safe as possible”, said McAsey.
Crews had to be cautious because of potential chemicals in the building.
The intersection of Centre Street at 40th Avenue North by the Tim Hortons was closed.
