Air Canada continues regular service after strike averted

It’s business as usual Wednesday at Air Canada after the company reached a tentative agreement with flight attendants just ahead of Tuesday’s strike deadline.

The Canadian Union of Public Employees is recommending the 6,800 flight attendants accept the deal.

CUPE says it will hold membership meetings in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal beginning next week and the vote is expected in about 17 days.
