No charges for driver who hit child

Calgary police say no charges will be laid after a 10-year-old boy was hit by a car  on Wednesday.

It happened around 4 p.m. in the northwest community of Panorama Hills.

Police have confirmed to 660News the 17-year-old driver who hit the child will not be arrested.

The boy remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.
