It appears it could be strike three for baseball’s Calgary Vipers.
According to the Calgary Herald, outfielder Drew Miller says cheques he and his teammates received earlier in the month have bounced.
In addition, the team’s website is no longer operating.
The latest developments come on the heels of team president John Conrad resigning earlier in the month because of the team’s financial situation.
The Vipers have played in several leagues since 2005 at Foothills Stadium in the city’s northwest.
