The President and CEO of the Calgary Stampeders says it’s time for stakeholders to step up and give McMahon Stadium a much-needed facelift.
With other CFL teams either renovating their stadiums or planning to, Lyle Bauer says it’s our turn to improve to the 50-year-old facility.
According to The Calgary Herald, Bauer says concessions, washrooms, and general concourse amenities should be updated for the comfort of the fans.
The facility has played host to four Grey Cup games, the 1988 Winter Olympics and the Heritage Classic.
It’s owned by the University of Calgary.
