Deerfoot construction to wrap soon

There will be a collective sigh of relieve for Deerfoot commuters as work on the Ogden flyover and Calf Robe Bridge wraps this week.
However, another project will take over to torment drivers soon, as work on the new Glenmore Trail interchange gets underway sometime next year.
Transportation spokesman Trent Bancarz tells The Calgary Sun, they’re building a new bridge where Deerfoot goes over Glenmore in the northbound direction, and the southbound bridges will be merged.
He says the work to increase capacity will be done in phases.
