Study shows teens waiting to drive

New provincial statistics indicate Alberta’s youth are not in any rush to get behind the wheel.
Figures show there were almost 2,000 fewer 16 and 17-year-old drivers last year compared with 2001.
Raynald Marchand of the Canada Safety Council tells The Calgary Herald, years ago, if you had a car, you were “somebody.”
Marchand says you’re probably more somebody today if you’ve got the latest iPhone.
