Charges laid in laser pointing incident

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a green laser light was pointed at a police helicopter flight crew early Tuesday morning.
Police say they were checking into a reported disturbance the 600 block of 4th Ave. Northeast via helicopter.
While they were searching the area, the laser was pointed at the flight crew.
They were able to track it and make an arrest.
David Palvialok is charged with obstructing a peace officer, mischief, endangering the safety of an aircraft in flight, and creating a hazard to aviation safety.
