Get naked – get free clothes!

A local clothing store is raising money for charity this weekend by asking patrons to come shopping in their ginch.
The first 50 men to line up outside Espy in Inglewood in their undies – and make a donation to the Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre – will get $500 dollars in free clothing.
The following 50 men in line get $300 dollars in free clothes.
Store owner Megan Szanik tells 660News the inspiration for the event, which is in its second year, came from her personal life.
“My dad got prostate cancer,” says Szanik. “It was a really big wakeup call for me and my family. My father-in-law had also just had prostate cancer, so for me it was one of those things where [you think] ‘wait a second… every guy can get this’.”
“What it came down to was, this is something I can talk about and I can have a little fun with… but it’s also really, really serious. Everybody talks about breast cancer, and everybody talks about all those other types of cancers… but nobody really talks about prostate cancer. I thought this would be a really cheeky and fun way to do that.”
The event raised $3,500 for prostate cancer research last year, and this year Szanik says their goal is to raise $10,000.
You have to be there before 10:00 a.m. to take part, but you’ve got to get there early to make sure you’re one of the first hundred line. ‘Stripping down’ is required by 8:30 a.m.
And the minimum suggested donation for the Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre is $100. Good luck boys!
