Man charged after crash kills two on McKnight Blvd

Calgary Police shut down McKnight Boulevard at Deerfoot Trail for over 5 hours after a horrific crash early Sunday morning.
23-year-old Ryan Thomas Kramer has now been charged with various offences, including two counts each of impaired driving causing death as well as driving over .08, causing death.
His passenger, a man in his 20’s, is in hospital with minor injuries.
A westbound Lexus rear-ended a Dodge Avenger stopped at a light killing a young couple in the Avenger.
Police say speed and alcohol may both have been factors in the crash.
