A woman is in stable condition in hospital after a hit and run in the city’s southwest Saturday morning.
Police say she’d been heading north on Crowchild Trail just before 6:00 a.m. when her car was hit from behind near the Flanders Avenue exit.
Duty Inspector Chris Butler tells 660News she lost control of the vehicle, which rolled several times before landing on its roof.
Butler tells 660News they have no leads on the other car or driver.
“Because of the isolation of the area and the time of the day there were no other witnesses to the accident so we have no description at this point of a vehicle, the offending vehicle, nor the offending driver,” says Butler.
Northbound Crowchild was shut down for three hours for the investigation and clean up of the scene.
