Judge orders Occupy Vancouver tents down, while Calgary protesters escape cold

A B.C. judge has ordered Occupy Vancouver demonstrators to take down their tents outside the Vancouver Art Gallery.
B-C Supreme Court Judge Anne MacKenzie says lawyers for the city have established that campers have been trespassing. She says they can carry on protesting, but not on city property.
Here in Calgary, the cold temperatures seem to be having an impact on demonstrators.
City-TV Reporter Heather Gilbertson describes the scene at Olympic Plaza Friday afternoon.
“Olympic Plaza was like a ghost town when temperatures dropped below minus 15 degrees celsius. Tents were sitting silent and motionless as I walked around, A city bobcat actually drove through clearing snow, but there were no people and no campers present until later in the afternoon,” said Gilbertson.
She says there were only about four people who told her they plan on spending the night at the plaza.
Bylaw Boss Bill Bruce has said they will be checking on the camp but say they can’t force people to take help.
