The Stampeders aren’t headed to the Grey Cup final this year but that’s not stopping Calgary’s Grey Cup Committee from heading to the festivities in Vancouver.
Since 1948, 70 volunteers have packed up a trailer and travelled to the host city, full of Calgary pride and a lot of pancake batter.
It has become tradition that the Calgary committee cooks up breakfast, providing flapjacks for thousands of hungry sports loving fans.
They’re also bringing the Stampede Queen and Princesses, along with a four-piece western band with an entire stage set up.
