Businesses hit hard in downtown

Randy Ferguson’s office tower, “20 Vic” at the corner of 7th Avenue and 3rd Street was quickly evacuated after police shut down the area.
He says adjustors are assessing the property where damage could range in the tens of thousands of dollars.
“There’s probably two dozen panes of glass that were broken or shattered, half a dozen of those did fall inward and the others shattered and remained in place.”‘
While it’s too early for official numbers, the City’s Emergency Management Agency’s Bruce Burrell estimates damage could be in the seven figure range.
