Two people have been rushed to hospital in critical condition after a single vehicle crash in the southeast Wednesday night.
Police were called to reports of two pedestrians hit around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of 36th Street and 16th Avenue.
Officers say a vehicle heading south on 36th Street crashed into a retaining wall at a house near 16th Avenue.
Duty Inspector Paul Stacey says the two people injured may have been in the vehicle and thrown from the car.
Stacey says alcohol and speed could be factors in the crash, but it is still too early in the investigation.
