Crews were able to put out a garage fire in the northeast Friday night before it spread to other homes.
Battalion Chief Don Huska tells 660News it broke out around 8:30 p.m. near the Marlborough Community Centre.
“Upon arrival, crews discovered a double-detached fully engulfed with fire. First arriving crews immediately called a second alarm for additional resources due to the large volume of fire and close proximity to neighbouring structures,” Huska says.
Damage was contained to the garage with some heat damage to a fence and overhead power lines.
No one was hurt, and there’s no word yet on a cause.
