NORAD Santa tracker on Facebook, Twitter

Technology has changed the way youngsters can monitor where Santa is on Christmas Eve.

Starting at 4 a.m. MST Saturday, kids can check on Saint Nick via Google Earth on the official NORAD tracks Santa website.

This year, you can track his progress through Twitter and Facebook, or through an official NORAD Santa app, available for both iPhone and Android.

Top NORAD Santa observers have a message: If children are still awake, Santa will bypass that house and come back later, weather permitting.

NORAD’s best advice: be sure to get to sleep extra early this Christmas Eve.
