WestJet to set record on Friday

WestJet is set to hit a new single day record for the airline Friday.

They will be flying 52,397 guests beating out their previous record on June 30 of just over 51,700 guests.

Executive Vice President Bob Cummings, says in a release, “it’s an honour to bring so many family and friends together at this special time of year.”

Friday December 23, will be the busiest travel day of the year and travellers are asked to arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to their flight.
