A barn fire south of Shaughnessy has led to 22,000 chicks being perished.
Fire departments from Picture Butte and Coalhurst both responded to the fully engulfed poultry barn that had been stocked with a new batch of chicks.
Officials say the fire is not suspicious at this time and it’s not known the exact amount of poultry lost.
