CNN calls Calgary Stampede a must-see in 2012

The Calgary Stampede is getting a shot-in-the-arm from a major American news network.
CNN has placed the Stampede on its list of “Seven places to visit in 2012.”
It calls the event “Canada’s Cowboy Epicentre” and ranked the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth fifth on the list.
Also on the list: the 2012 Summer Olympics in London as well as the Euro 2012 soccer championship in Poland and Ukraine.
