Mormons in Calgary continue to get closer to their decades-long dream of opening a new temple.
On Thursday morning, a crane will lift a statue of the Angel Moroni to the pinnacle of the new building set to serve some 18-thousand faithful in the city.
The Angel Moroni is a prophet that symbolizes the spreading the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints faith.
According to The Calgary Sun, the Calgary Alberta Temple should open next autumn on Rocky Ridge Road N.W.
