Missing Vulcan senior murdered

A Vulcan senior missing for more than a week has been found dead and a man and a woman have been arrested in connection.
RCMP allege 77-year-old Otto “Bunty” Loose was abducted from his home near Vulcan on the evening of January 13th and taken to Nanton and Claresholm where several suspicious financial transactions were attempted.
First degree murder charges are expected to be laid against a 35-year-old man and a 28 year old woman is likely to be charged with being an accessory and obstruction of justice.
Both are known to police.
Loose’s body was found in a remote wooded area near Claresholm.
An autopsy later this week should confirm the cause of death.
The senior’s family had put out a plea for information late last week after police found Bunty’s car abandoned in Calgary.
