Calgary woman attacked in Mexico

A Calgary woman is in intensive care after she was brutally beaten in a Mexican hotel.
Sheila Nabb was vacationing with her husband and was found in a pool of blood in an elevator at the Hotel Riu Emerald Bay in Mazatlan.
Nabb now lives in Calgary but is originally from Nova Scotia.
Her uncle, Robert Prosser, says he was told about the attack Saturday, but Nabb’s sister found out Friday.
Every bone in her face has been broken and he says her jaw is wired shut and plates have replaced her cheekbones.
“It was just her face. Nothing below the neck at all, there is not a bruise or anything on her,” said Prosser.
She has been put in an induced coma and her doctor hopes to wake her up today or tomorrow and he says it will be at least 3 to 4 weeks before his niece is stable enough to come back to Calgary.
Her husband was sleeping in their room at the time of the attack.
He says no suspects have been arrested but there are pictures of someone walking in and out of an elevator.
