Calgarian poster boy for freedom

A fallen Calgary-based Canadian soldier has been immortalized in poster form.

A U.S. company that creates posters for fallen members of the American Forces produced one depicting Corporal Nathan Hornburg who died in Afghanistan in 2007.

“Freedom’s On Me” agreed to create the poster after Hornburg’s father contacted the company.

Corporal Hornburg is shown holding a beer towards the front of the poster, which resembles the “Uncle Sam – I want you” posters from the Second World War.
