In this case, the heads up isn’t about a stray golf ball, but the Fox Hollow Golf Course may well be open Wednesday.
“Our superintendent would let us know the morning of, if there’s any frost from the night before, obviously. And if everything is safe to go for everybody, we’ll play it day-by-day,” says Doug, who works in the proshop at the course.
“In years past, there’s been times where you’ll get 5 or 6 people out,” he continues. “Or you can have a three-hour wait list. So you just never know, depending on how nice it actually gets to be.”
Conditions permitting, anxious duffers will be able to play the course on Wednesday — and the days to come — on a first-come, first-served basis.
It will cost you $25 to play 18.
