Blaze takes down S.E. manufacturing building

A fire has destroyed a pallet-making operation in Calgary’s southeast.
The blaze broke out around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and completely engulfed the Quonset building in the 9700 block of 114th Avenue.
Enmax was called in as live power lines fell during the incident; fire crews were able to prevent the flames from spreading to neighbouring buildings.
Nobody was hurt, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
