Happy birthday to one of the most recognized toys in North America.

On February 2nd, 1964, G.I. Joe action figures made their debut as a foot-high hero glorifying the honour of soldiers fighting the Second World War.

According to The Globe and Mail, the toys have become a hot collectable with listings on eBay of a 1964 figure still in a box going for over $200.
