Stalking reports lead to arrest

One man is in police custody facing 22 charges after a nearly year-long investigation into several reports of stalking.

Police tell The Calgary Sun 40-year-old Steven Edward Molar faces criminal harassment and drug charges after six women reported being stalked at the University of Calgary, Chinook Centre, and Market Mall during the day and at night.

The victims say a man was following them, mouthing strange words and making weird gestures.

Police would like to hear from any other women who may have been victimized.
