Peace Bridge opens next month

The long awaited Peace Bridge opening has been set for March 24th.

It has been in the works since September 2008 when Calgary city council approved the project and has met with delay after delay ever since.

Area Alderman, Druh Farrell says this has been a learning experience for the city but well worth it.

The bridge was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
