Rietze sentencing set for Wednesday

Sentencing is Friday for 47-year-old Bradley Rietze, now pleading guilty to the rape and murder of his teenage step-daughter whose body was found in a box spring mattress in their southwest home two years ago.
Rietze fired his two lawyers who advised against changing his plea from not guilty to guilty on the first degree murder charge.
Monday was supposed to be the first day of a two-week jury trial.
Instead, Rietze admitted to raping the girl and then strangling her to death.
Rietze faces an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years.
