Fees could drop at Park n’ Rides

Calgary Transit may drop reserved parking rates at three LRT lots where the $70 per month price isn’t so popular.
While users at some lots rushed to pay it, those at other lots, like McKnight-Westwinds and Franklin stations in the city’s northeast, are not that interested.
It’s not popular down south at the Anderson lot, either, where only 78 spots have been reserved out of the 875 that are available.
So, Transit may drop the price of reserved parking at those three lots in the hopes of attracting more interest.
The idea is expected to be considered by a city committee this week.
