Healthcare debate in Calgary

A town hall style debate on healthcare is taking place Tuesday evening featuring some of the province’s top decision makers.
The meeting is being held at the Metropolitan Conference Centre at 6:45 p.m. and is open to the public.
Among those participating are Health Minister Fred Horne, Liberal health critic Dr. David Swann, and Heather Forsyth who is the health critic for the Wildrose Alliance.
A representative of the Alberta Medical Association tells The Calgary Herald it’s a good opportunity to see what the different political parties have to say about healthcare ahead of a spring election.
