Telus Spark day camps

With spring break just around the corner, day camps are filling up quickly around Calgary.
The Telus Spark has several camps for ages 5 through 12.
Most of the spots are taken but there are still some left.
Organizer Nesmah Elkestawi tells 660News there are different themes for each age group.
One of the themes for the 7-to-9 year-olds is Mission Outer Space.
“We’re going to be focusing on planets and the asteroids and meteorites and what it is that is going to be needed for astronauts or for a martian to live on a different planet. The kids are going to choose which planet they’d like to explore and what their alien would look like,” says Elkestawi.
A multi-media camp for ages 9 through 12, where kids can create their own video game, has already been filled.
There are 140 spaces in total for spring camps. The Spark will start booking in April for summer programs.
