Date to be set for Dustin Paxton sentencing

A sentencing date will be set today for Dustin Paxton.

Paxton was found guilty of aggravated and sexual assault after beating and starving his former roommate.

The roommate was dropped off at a Regina hospital in April 2010 with severe injuries, and weighing less than a hundred pounds.

Paxton was also found guilty of beating another former roommate, Abraham Chutta, who testified he was beat with a dog leash and baton.

Paxton can be handed up to 14 years in prison for being found guilty on four separate charges.
