Polling companies busy

Over the past few weeks, polling firms have made a tonne of cash off political parties and media outlets wanting to know the pulse of Alberta ahead of a spring election.

The President of Return on Insight says interest in this election is much higher than it was back in 2008., the last time Albertans’ were called to the polls.

Bruce Cameron says poll results not only influence political campaigns, but campaign momentum.

He adds the upcoming Alberta election should be very interesting, saying we’re going to see an unprecedented onslaught of political advertising with the various parties trying win over voters.
