B.C. Mounties go incognito to tackle distracted driving

British Columbia RCMP officers are dressing up as the homeless to catch distracted drivers at city street corners.
The undercover officer holds up a sign declaring they are police and warning drivers they’re about to get a ticket if they’re on their cell phone.
The tactic is paying huge dividends as 4,500 people were caught in the province last month alone according to the Calgary Sun.
In Calgary, just under 1,500 drivers have been issued distracted driving tickets in the past five months.
