Canadians hold fundraiser for Sheila Nabb’s alleged attacker

While Mexican beating victim Sheila Nabb continues to recover in her Calgary home, reports out of Mexico say Canadians are raising money for her alleged attacker.
Nabb, 37, was found in a pool of blood in a Mazatlan hotel on January 20th.
Jose Quintero, 28, has confessed to the beating, though hasn’t been convicted.
A Mexican newspaper reports a group of Canadians in Mazatlan held a fundraising dinner a few days ago to help pay for Quintero’s legal defense.
