Three men charged with attempted murder in Lethbridge shooting

Three men are facing attempted murder charges in connection to the shooting of a 30-year-old Ottawa man in Lethbridge.

Early Friday morning, police were called out to the Studio 54 nightclub in the city.

Police say that three suspects entered the club then one of them pulled out a gun and shot the victim at close range.

More shots were then reportedly fired into the air as staff at the club tried the block the trio’s escape.

The three men fled the club and no one else was injured.

The victim was airlifted to hospital in Calgary and is in stable condition.

The suspects were arrested at a hotel Friday afternoon.

Police believe the shooting was targeted attack and part of the city’s drug trade.

Now facing several charges including attempted murder are:

Rage Hassan ISLOW, 23, of Edmonton, Alberta
Abdirahman Moha ISLOW, 21, of Toronto, Ontario
Yaqoub Mahad ALI, 23, of Edmonton, Alberta
