There’s just 100 days left until the Summer Olympics in London, England.
It’s the biggest sporting event on the planet, and it’s “game on” right now in London, where crews are working to get everything prepared.
The BBC’s Karin Giannone is near the Athletes’ Village in East London and is hoping Mother Nature cooperates in a few months.
“This is only April, July of course we know is going to be much, much better, the good old British weather,” she said.
When it comes to the coverage, Sportsnet’s Rob Corte said it’s going to be massive.
“The Summer Games, I think it’s about three times bigger than the Winter Games, and I think this is where the Olympic consortium really can show its strength, our ability with all our various platforms to show live sporting events,” he said.
