Got bad breath? It might be due to the dairy products you eat and drink.
Or it could be something more difficult to deal with. According to Dr. Harold Katz, it may be a bacterial problem.
“And these bacteria, under certain conditions, produce what are called volatile sulphur compounds. These are chemicals like hydrogen sulphide which is the rotten egg,” says Katz.
One easy way to help things is to drink more water because bad breath happens more often when your mouth is dry.
He advises against mouthwash as a solution because all the alcohol in it contributes to a dry mouth.
