The Tragically Hip set to join Stampede’s centennial celebration

The Calgary Stampede is going to be the hippest party in town this year.

Canadian rockers The Tragically Hip have been announced as the Roundup headliners.

The veteran musicians will hit the stage at Fort Calgary Wednesday, July 11.

Joining The Hip at the Rotary Club of Calgary Fundraiser are fellow Canucks Matthew Good and 54-40.

Proceeds will go to help terminally ill children at the Rotary Flames House.
