A veteran Mountie has been reprimanded for seven counts of disgraceful conduct that includes having sex with subordinates and drinking on the job.
An RCMP disciplinary board has demoted and fined Staff Sgt. Don Ray, who was a member of the Behavioural Sciences Unit at Edmonton headquarters.
An agreed statement of facts says Ray stocked a bar fridge with liquor in his office and offered alcohol to subordinates.
It says he had sex with one subordinate in the RCMP polygraph suite and in an unmarked police car.
Ray also made unwelcome sexual comments to other female subordinates and civilian employees.
The board says in a report his conduct has damaged trust in the RCMP.
He is currently being held at an undisclosed Mountie detachment in British Columbia.
