Home re-sales in our city rose by more than seven per cent in the first quarter of the year, compared to the fourth quarter of 2011.
Economist Robert Hogue says despite the resurgence in sales, prices remained relatively flat.
Hogue says in terms of affordability, Calgary remains one of the most affordable among Canada’s largest cities.
RBC predicts house sales in Calgary will remain vibrant through the remainder of 2012.
