New website launched to help impoverished seniors

A non-profit organization dedicated to improving the life of people over the age of 65 across the country has established an online registry.
Seniors advocate and philanthropist Peter Cook is the man behind the organization Seniors in Need.
Cook says seniors can apply for help and donors will directly deal with them.
So far a dozen nursing agencies and community organizations have signed up posting requests ranging from financial help to buy a hearing aide to a lining up a ride to help somebody buy groceries.
