Fire department pulls two from the Bow River

A woman risked her own life and jumped into the Bow River Monday afternoon to save someone’s life.
Around 1:40 p.m., EMS says a man in early 30s his jumped in the river and a woman in her early 50s jumped in after him.
“She was able to make contact but not able to quite pull him to shore so the fire boat actually brought them both to shore on the south side of the river, at Edworthy Park,” said EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux.
Both were rushed to the Foothills Hospital and are being treated for mild hypothermia and mild exhaustion.
