The Calgary Stampeders will kick off the 2012 pre-season at McMahon Stadium Friday night with a date against their provincial rivals, the Edmonton Eskimos.

Stamps fans will get to see favourite players like Drew Tate, Jon Cornish, Keon Raymond and Brandon Smith, and also get to welcome newcomers like veteran quarterback Kevin Glenn and defensive lineman Ameet Pall.

If you show up early you can take in some tailgating, or meet some of the players for autographs at the Fun Zone opposite the ticket office on the southeast side of the stadium.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
