Flooding concerns continue in Alberta and B.C.

There are a lot of people keeping a close eye on the Highwood River in southern Alberta.
The town of High River opened its emergency operations centre Sunday after a flood warning on the river was issued, but closed it later in the afternoon as weather improved.
Recent rainfall meant that flood forecasters were predicting high flows on the Highwood.
Flood tubes were deployed to some parts of High River as a precaution.
In British Columbia, flash-flooding from heavy rain and melting snow is suspected in at least one death.
A body was found Sunday downstream from where a 71-year-old man was swept away in a torrent of floodwaters that washed out a bridge near Nelson.
Swollen rivers and creeks are wreaking havoc around B.C., forcing as many as 350 people to evacuate their homes in Sicamous.
Crews are hoping to re-open the TransCanada Highway as soon as possible; a mudslide came rumbling down between Perry River and Revelstoke over the weekend. An update is expected later Monday morning.
