Water levels continue to rise

Two southern Alberta rivers are now under flood watches.
The Sheep River at Okotoks and Black Diamond and the Highwood through High River could spill over their banks in some low lying areas according to Alberta Environment.
In Okotoks, the river pathway system is closed and residents are being told to steer clear of the riverbanks because they can be unstable.
In Calgary, the Bow and Elbow rivers remain under a high streamflow advisory and the city is re-stating basement flooding concerns for residents in 17 city neighbourhoods.
The Elbow river has dropped a bit from Monday, but crews are keeping a close eye on the water.
10 to 15 millimetres of rain is due to fall on the city Tuesday.
