The search for what police suspect is a serial groper has heated up after another incident in the southeast community of Erin Woods.
At around 10:20 p.m. Thursday, a man attempted to grab a woman in the back alley of Erin Grove Place, but she was able to fight him off and run away.
His description is exactly that of a suspect who is wanted in two other sexual assaults in the community earlier this month, the most recent coming on Tuesday in Erin Meadows Green.
Duty inspector Paul Malchow said police are looking once again for the suspect.
“A little concerning for us of course, that he’s still approaching, trying to re-offend, despite us going to the media and throwing a lot of resources at this investigation,” he said. “So we’re confident that eventually we’re going to get this individual.”
The man is described as white, about 25 years old, with a slim build, wearing a black hoodie and grey pants.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
